The famous Korean director of MY SASSY GIRL Kwak Jae-Yong produced, the Chinese Film Media Award Best New Director of LUCKY DOG Zhang Meng directed touching new film THE PIANO IN A FACTORY will start production in Liaoning on March 26. The film will be about a steel factory worker who laboriously tries to fulfill his daughter's music dream. The film will gather a strong team from the Chinese and Korean film industry. The lead actresses will include the Golden Horse Best Actress Qin Hailu and PRETTY WOMAN's Jang Shin-Young.

This Zhang Meng written and directed film has already caught attention during its screenplay creation stage. Before the film even began production it was already selected the 2009 Shanghai International Film Festival creative competition section. Among 217 candidates it won the most creative award and the most attention award".
