The Emperor and Shaw Brothers collaboration FEI CHUI MING JU (JADE PEARL) is in production now and stars Raymond Lam Fung and Charlene Choi Chuek Yin. Among the supporting cast, a new face from the Mainland in particular stands out. She is known as "Mainland Little Shu Qi" Mavis Pang Shuangshuang. Although Mavis this time in the film only plays a princess, her arrival undoubtedly duplicated Hong Kong model and Heavenly King mate Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam)'s Hong Kong journey.

New film FEI CHUI MING JU earlier began production. Emperor top star Joey Yung Cho Yi will guest star in her first costume film. The film just started work and already it has caught attention. Aside from the female lead Ah Sa, the new talent from Mainland also received the same treatment. She was the famous Mainland model Mavis. This might be Mavis' first film but her sweet smile has already become very familiar with the team as she received courteous treatment from actors Lam Fung, Ti Lung and others. During the group photo, her position could absolutely rival Sire Ma Choi and Christine Kuo Wan Wai. Although her character was only one of a dozen or so princesses, Pan Shuangshuang was not slacking at all despite the minor role. Ultimately her first film was already a Shaw and Emperor big film, her future will still be very ideal.

Mavis earlier signed with Mainland management agency Polybona and was dubbed online "Mainland version Shu Qi". Mavis was very honest. "Their comments are praises for me. Shu Qi is very pretty and has quite an aura. Actually I don't feel I look much like her. I think I will still be myself and not someone's double or replacement. I will work hard so the Hong Kong audience knows I am Pan Shuangshuang."

Aside from the Emperor film, Mavis expressed that her manager has already introduced her to many Hong Kong directors in hopes of more film collaborations so more people would know her. Her Hong Kong invasion steps are 80% like veteran Hung Doi Lam's.
