Media Asia film MOTORWAY (CHEH SAU) will open on June 21st.  The film had many car chases.  Soi Cheang Po Shui in order to give the audience the first person experience would release a Motion Chair D-BOX version at the release, so viewers would feel like they were in the car during the movie and sense the strong motion.

MOTORWAY was also the first Chinese film that was able to provide the D-BOX motion version.  The motion level could rival any Hollywood hit.  For now only Mongkok GH and Tsim Sha Tsui Golden Gateway had the service in Hong Kong.  D-BOX was the Golden Harvest cinema circuit's HK$1 million 4D motion chair facility investment.  The special chairs would give off different level of vibration according to the story and the scene.  Due to its cost, its film selection was rather strict.  In the past only A class Hollywood hits like MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS, TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ON STRANGER TIDE provided D-BOX option to viewers, which proved the circuit had rather high rating for MOTORWAY.

MOTORWAY was the first Hong Kong film to be able to provide this service for the audience.  In the 90 minutes, over 5,000 different levels of motion frequency and rates have been set.  Earlier the director Cheang Bo Shui and lead Shawn Yue Man Lok went to Golden Gateway for a screening and both were very excited afterward.  They felt that it was a super high experience.  The director was very satisfied with the film's accuracy of vibrating and motion, feeling that D-BOX will be able to completely provide the viewers the real experience of the characters in the film.  Lok Jai pointed out that the film itself was already very exciting, but in D-BOX it was an ultimate experience.  It was even more interesting than 3D films and as exciting as playing a video game.
