Recently a Mainland magazine revealed that Wang Lijun who was known as the pioneer against organized crime in Chongqing over two years ago was interested in making a film or a television series about his fight against gangs and thus contacted many film and television celebrities. According to the magazine Johnnie To Kei Fung said that he once scouted Chongqing for location and has met with Wang Lijun 4 times.
