Adam Cheng Siu Chau and Raymond Lam Fung in the film SAVING GENERAL YANG play father and son. Chau Guoon played General Yang and Lam Fung his fifth son. Earlier the "father and son" promoted the film. "Chok King" Lam Fung claimed that Chau Guoon was the true Chok originator. Lam Fung said that 10 years ago he and Chau Guoon worked together on the television series BLADE HEART (HUET JIN HIN YUEN) and witnessed how Chok Chau Guoon was. Lam Fung said, "I personally witnessed how Chau Guoon was in character as soon as he had the costume on. The things that I learned from Chau Guoon, the serious work ethics, have been very influential to me." He knew Chau Guoon learned swordplay that was useful for a lifetime. For this film he too went to study swords. Chau Guoon felt that it was necessary, after learning at least he would be convincing and in full control; Lam Fung agreed. He did not want to give people the impression that he was a great fighter, but he had to at least convince viewers and looked like a swordsman. He praised Chau Guoon as the true hero who was very at ease with the sword.

Chau Guoon praised Lam Fung for taking risks on both fight scenes and horse riding scenes. "Taking risks is a type of Chok. When a man is the most charming? That type of Chok when he was serious and injected into his work would be it." He pointed out that 10 years ago he already thought Lam Fung was very Chok. 10 years later he was even more natural with it. Lam Fung revealed that Chau Guoon was in full armor and costume even when he practiced horse riding. Chau Guoon joked that in front of seven sons he did not dare to take it easy. Chau Guoon also praised his seven sons for being very nice and treating him very well. They often cooked for him and everyone was a great cook. Among the sons, Chau Guoon felt apologetic to Wu Chun and Fu Xinbo because they had a swordplay scene. Although he already controlled his strength he still hit them. Thus he felt sorry. Chau Guoon joked, "I had to Chok the sword, but before that they were Chok."
