[2013.03.28] LESLIE CHEUNG 2 MILLION ORIGAMI CRANE DISPLAY IS POSTPONED

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing (Gor Gor)'s passing, Chan Suk Fun organized a series of events for fans around the world to come to Hong Kong and remember their idol. Originally scheduled for today, the FINAL COUNTER Leslie Cheung 10th anniversary commemorative activities and the 2 million origami crane display that will apply for a Guinness World Record will be postponed until the 30th as the authorities cautiously calculated the origami crane amount.

In the past 10 years, Japanese fans every year would present thousand origami crane to express their love for Cheung Kwok Wing. This year the origami crane theme was Casablanca. Reportedly perfume lily was Cheung Kwok Wing's favorite flower, representing elegance and noble love. Japanese fans this time folded 3650 origami cranes to represent the 3650 days of the past 10 years. Gor Gor's hearts and fans' love would always be pure. On April 2 they would present the origami crane to Po Fok Hill to their idol.

The MISS YOU MUCH memorial concert will take place Sunday (March 31). Performers continued to appear for rehearsal. They included the Grasshoppers, Karen Mok Man Wai, Anthony Wong Yiu Ming, Leo Ku Kui Ke, William So Wing Hong and Hins Cheung King Hin.
