The Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Joyce Cheng Yun Yi starred 29+1 as for two days ago accumulated HK$ 7 million at the box office. Many industry insiders like Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Shiga Lin Sze Nga bought their own tickets to support the domestically created film. The director and the cast went all over Hong Kong for audience appreciation events at the movies in three teams. The audience was enthusiastic. Many were not first time viewers, some even watched it seven times. Because the film was meaningful and left room to think, each time a viewer watched the film he or she would come to a different understanding. Joyce said, ""For this audience appreciation, I was the most touched when a viewer after watching told me about a decision to quit a job and go on a working holiday; what I appreciate the most about this film would be that it would make you think. Whatever you want to, you would do something for yourself. You would cherish what you have even more, which is very important. I hope even more people would watch this film, I hope this message helps even more people to evaluate their choices." BabyJohn in the past few months attended several films' audience appreciation events, but this film's has been different from the ones before. "This movie is a more realistic portrayal of life, and focuses of the age of 30 for women. So the audience would rather willing to share their 30 year old experience or experience that relates to this film. So I feel this audience appreciation makes me think and feel. It's not as simple as just thanking the audience. It is a direct exchange."
