Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin earlier with Mainland star Tong Dawei worked on the new film MURDER IN SAN JOSE (SING HOR SAI MAU SAT ON). Ah Sa had to run on feet sticking mud while yelling at Tong Dawei. Director Calvin Poon Yuen Leung praised her performance as just right. "Ah Sa grasped this scene very well. The not so ideal surrounding environment didn't affect her, her performance was very outstanding."

The film earlier started production in Vancouver, Canada, Ah Sa, Tong Dawei, Dominic Lam Ka Wa and Poon Yuen Leung appeared. Due to the numerous foreigners Lam Ka Wa and Poon Yuen Leung attentively taught them the details of the worship ceremony.

Ah Sa said that her character was very different from before. "Actually this film is very everyday life, but as it develops slowly some heart pounding stories would appear. In the end everything explodes. The character's state of mind changes a lot, it has to be grasped very precisely." The film was based on famous Hong Kong playwright Chong Mui Ngan's play of the same name. After last year's HEAVEN IN THE DARK with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and Karena Lam Ka Yun, the film company again adapted another one of Chong's plays. Aside from Vancouver, the film will also shoot on location in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Shenzhen and is expected to complete production by September.
